Tauck schedules wellness-themed river cruises for 2027 and 2028.

Tauck has scheduled wellness programming for two Seine river cruises in 2027 and plans five wellness sailings across a wider selection of routes in 2028, CruiseMapper reports. The first departures are set for July 28 and October 11, 2027, aboard the 124-passenger Serene.

Both 10-day trips follow Tauck's existing Rendezvous on the Seine itinerary, traveling round trip from Paris through Normandy, according to CruiseMapper. The wellness activities are optional and will be offered alongside the sightseeing and cultural experiences already on the schedule.

Three themes shape the onboard program#

CruiseMapper reports that the optional program has three themes: Move, Savour and Restore. The first centers on fitness, the second considers food and well-being, and the third includes mindfulness, relaxation and recovery.

Nikki Polos, a fitness entrepreneur and wellness coach who founded the Workout Worthy platform, is scheduled to host both 2027 departures, according to CruiseMapper. The outlet says the new program complements the regular itinerary rather than replacing its existing activities.

CruiseMapper says Serene's upper Diamond Deck houses The Retreat, a wellness area with a lounge and a room for massage treatments. Its fitness center overlooks the river.

Bookings are open for both sailings#

The July 28 departure starts at AU$11,390 per person based on double occupancy, while the October 11 sailing starts at AU$13,940 per person, CruiseMapper reports. Airfare is excluded from both prices, and bookings are open for both departures.

Tauck is a guided tour and cruise operator based in Wilton, Connecticut, according to Wikipedia. Its offerings include European river cruises, small-ship ocean cruises and guided land journeys. The company was founded in 1925 and operates trips in 70 countries and on all seven continents.

In a separate travel offering, Austin-based Rosedale Travel has added wellness travel and yacht charter advisory services, according to an announcement on EIN Presswire. According to the agency, its wellness service selects experiences for clients based on their budget, travel style, pace and goals.

Five wellness sailings are planned for 2028#

Cruises News reports that Tauck has confirmed five wellness sailings on a wider range of routes in 2028. Sales have also opened for its European river cruise program that year, including three new Rhône trips lasting between six and 14 days.

The new ms Harmonie is scheduled to join ms Lumière on the Rhône, doubling Tauck's passenger capacity there, according to Cruises News. The outlet reports that the company's expansion plan calls for total river cruise passenger capacity to rise by more than 50% by 2028 compared with 2025 levels.
