These terms cover your use of alittlesparkofjoy.com. The site is run by Digital Symbols Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14585300. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Digital Symbols Limited.

By using the site, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data, and our disclaimer explains what our content is for and where its limits are. Please read them alongside these terms.

Who the site is for#

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

What the site is#

A Little Spark of Joy publishes articles about tarot, angel numbers, astrology, dreams and symbolism. The site also has:

  • daily, weekly and monthly horoscopes, written from the calculated positions of the planets
  • birth chart and Moon sign calculators
  • meanings for all 78 tarot cards
  • comparisons of psychic and spiritual services, apps, reports and tarot decks
  • Discovery, where we list spiritual businesses and practitioners
  • News, a daily feed that summarises stories from other outlets, with a link to each original
  • Spark, an AI guide that answers questions using our articles

Reading is free and needs no account. Businesses can pay to be listed or to advertise.

Using the site#

You're welcome to read, share and link to our pages, and to print them for your own use. Please don't:

  • copy our articles, images or data in bulk to publish elsewhere. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine.
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the site
  • use the site to break the law, or to harass or mislead anyone
  • send us information that's false, or that isn't yours to share

We may block access for anyone who does.

Using Spark#

Spark is free within a daily allowance, currently 12 questions a day per browser. Please don't:

  • try to get around the allowance, with scripts or by clearing your browser over and over
  • connect Spark to automated tools, or use it as a free AI service for another product
  • try to make Spark ignore or reveal its instructions, or produce harmful content
  • put other people's personal information into it

We may limit or block Spark for anyone who misuses it. Spark's answers can be wrong, and our disclaimer explains its limits.

Listings and advertising#

Sending us a listing#

When you send us a listing or an advertising enquiry, you confirm that:

  • you own the business, or have its permission to list it
  • the information you send is accurate, and you'll tell us when it changes
  • you have the right to let us publish any text, images and links you send

You allow us to publish that material on the site, and to edit it for length, clarity and our style, for as long as the listing is live. We may also decline or remove any listing, paid or not. To change your listing, email us and we'll make the change.

A listing is not an endorsement. Our disclaimer explains what a listing does and doesn't mean.

Paying for a listing or placement#

Payments are processed by Stripe, on Stripe's own checkout page, and Stripe's terms apply to the payment.

Listings bought on the Get listed page are one-time payments. Placements bought on the Advertise page are subscriptions, which renew automatically until you cancel. You see the price before you pay, and Stripe's checkout shows how often a subscription renews. Custom tiers are priced and agreed with you directly. To cancel a subscription, email info@alittlesparkofjoy.com.

If we decline your listing after you've paid, you get a full refund. For any other refund question, email us. None of this affects your rights under consumer law.

Paying buys a listing, a placement or a badge. It never buys a ranking, a score or a review verdict. Paid placements are clearly labelled, and their links are tagged so search engines don't pass ranking credit through them. We never sell a followed link.

Our content#

Unless a page says otherwise, the articles, images, design and code on this site belong to Digital Symbols Limited or to those who license them to us. Some of the data behind our calculators comes from outside sources, under their own licences:

Our name and logo are ours. Please don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or your business.

We link to other websites, including businesses we list, review or earn a commission from. We don't control those sites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you're there, and anything you buy from them is between you and them.

No guarantees#

We can't promise that every page is complete, current or free of errors, or that the site will always be available. Horoscopes, tarot, birth charts, angel numbers and Spark's answers are for reflection and entertainment. They are not predictions or professional advice. We provide the site as it is.

Limits on our liability#

As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for:

  • decisions you make based on something you read here or something Spark says
  • what happens on other websites, or with businesses you reach through our links
  • losses caused by the site being unavailable or by errors on it

If you're a business that has paid us, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before your claim.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in them affects your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms#

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply to you.

Governing law#

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute about them. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protections that the law where you live gives you, and you may be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
