Pros & cons
Pros
- Long-running US service with a large intro package that makes a first reading genuinely inexpensive.
- Free bundled minutes on top of the intro package.
- Both chat and phone from one account.
Cons
- The gap between the intro rate and the standard rate is the widest in this set: the tiered "Master" and "Elite" prices are a different category of spend.
- Where the intro minutes end and full-price minutes begin is not signalled clearly while you are talking.
- The headline offer dominates the site, while the standing rate card takes work to find.
