Forever Conscious, describing the same lunar event for September 26, calls it the Harvest Moon because it is the first full moon after the equinox, and says the chart carries a large amount of fiery energy tied to the Aries placement.

Bazylenko told UNN that the first half of the week, before the full moon, favors starting new projects, since the moon is waxing and no major retrograde from the personal planets is in effect. She added that the period is tense for Ukraine specifically, with high-profile political and legal proceedings possibly continuing.

On the equinox itself, Bazylenko linked the date to older harvest traditions, saying various peoples marked the day with communal meals and gratitude for the season's yield, and she suggested gathering seasonal food and remembering ancestors on September 23.
