Pandora launches zodiac-inspired Talisman collection in Australia and New Zealand.

Pandora has launched its zodiac-inspired Talisman jewellery collection in Australia and New Zealand with a campaign created with agency Jack Nimble, Campaign Brief NZ reports. The collection includes charms and other pieces featuring star signs and motifs drawn from nature.

The campaign uses outdoor advertising, including digital displays, to connect the jewellery with personalities associated with zodiac signs, according to Mumbrella. Pandora's Creative Studio made the international campaign, and Jack Nimble adapted its material for the two markets.

Star signs shape the campaign#

The advertising draws on familiar descriptions of three signs: Capricorn is linked with "boss energy," Libra with "it girl energy" and Leo with "main character energy," Campaign Brief NZ reports. The descriptions are part of the campaign's approach to presenting the zodiac collection.

The zodiac is divided into 12 signs along the apparent path of the sun, according to Wikipedia. Those signs include Capricorn, Libra and Leo, the three named in Campaign Brief NZ's account of the advertising.

Jack Nimble made assets for different advertising channels and used Pandora's signature pink in the local campaign, Mumbrella reports. The agency adapted the global creative material for Australia and New Zealand, with the Australian work described as one of the relatively few local adaptations of a global Pandora campaign.

Talisman draws on ancient coins#

The collection takes inspiration from ancient coins, according to Campaign Brief. Alongside zodiac charms, the range includes reversible rings, necklaces and bracelets. Its designs use both star signs and imagery from nature.

Pandora is a Danish jewellery maker and retailer that began as a family-run shop in Copenhagen, according to Wikipedia. The company is known for customisable charm bracelets and began selling its signature bracelets in 2000.

Campaign Brief NZ reports that the Talisman campaign aimed to reach a new generation of Pandora customers and reconnect with those who discovered the brand through its charm bracelets.
